THE IDEA THAT JUST FIT...
Nicholas Joseph Hansen launched the label Nicholas Joseph Chicago Custom Tailors in Chicago, IL after
years of extensive planning, designing, and travels for fabrics & inspiration.
The obsession began when he returned from an overseas trip where he had purchased
his first hand tailored custom suit and custom dress shirts - he was hooked the moment
he tried them on. "It is the fit... no wait, it is the options... no.
It is definitely the custom fit" he said. When he got home he was disappointed
to find that the only high quality, reputable custom suit shops that existed
in the US were charging four times or more what he had paid overseas. Always
looking for unique challenges and opportunities, he thought "there has
to be a way to make custom tailored suits and custom clothing for men affordable in the US".
And thus, Nicholas Joseph was born.
Those years of planning
and research paid off. When Nicholas Joseph Custom Tailors launched, Nicholas
Joseph Hansen had behind the brand three lifelong expert custom tailors -
a custom shirt tailor, a custom jacket tailor, and a custom pant tailor. Each of
these men were trained in England and have been creating custom
suits and other custom clothing by hand for over a combined 50 years.
Still operating in
as Custom Tailors in Chicago, IL, Nicholas Joseph has clients across the US and
Canada and is being introduced by loyal clients to their
